The Stone Bridge

Today we are releasing another map from our upcoming adventure for DMs Guild. To avoid spoiling the story of the adventure, I'm just going to include a little lore about the bridge.

Broken Stone Bridge

Before the Broken Stone Bridge was built, this was the site of the only river crossing for 15-20 miles. The current here is unpredictable, lulling one minute and rapid the next. Thus, the rocky river bed resulted in enough accidents to earn it the title "Broken Bone".

As the nearby settlement of Stawford began to prosper, the dangerous crossing became a serious impediment to commerce. After lost shipments and hobbled horses, the town rallied together to build a permanent crossing on the site. The townsfolk constructed an arch bridge quarried from local stone and named the bridge in honor of the former crossing.
